The International Institute of Success Awareness, New Delhi, has awarded the “Bharat Jyoti” to Dr. Dirgha Singh Bam, Director of SAARC Tuberculosis Center in Sano Thimi, an announcement said.

Deepchand Bandhu, Indian Minister for Industries and Bhisma Narayan Singh, ex-minister for Education, presented the award to Dr. Bam in the Indian capital Wednesday. Dr. Bam has been honoured for his contribution to the prevention and control of tuberculosis in South Asia.

The award includes a gold medal and a letter of appreciation. World Innovation Foundation (WIF), UK, has conferred an honourary membership of the organization on Dr. Dayananda Bajracharya, a announcement said.
