Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba Tuesday morning bid farewell to the 50 member Nepali contingent participating in the 15 Asian Games starting in Busan, South Korea, Sunday.
National Sports Council (NSC) member secretary Binod Shanker Palikhe was present on the occasion at the official residence of the prime minister in Baluwatar.
Nepal is participating in athletics, boxing, gold, judo, karate, swimming, shooting, taekwondo, soft tennis, weightlifting and wushu. For the first time, Nepal is participating in golf.
Nepal bagged one silver and two bronze medals in taekwondo and one bronze in karate in the last Games in Bangkok.
