A ten member cultural troupe of Rashtriya Naachghar led by Ramchandra Ojha will be visiting India from September 10-18 on the invitation of the Government of India, the Indian Embassy said.
Other members of the troupe are: Sudesh Sharma, Music Manager, Yagya Man Shakya, Asst. Dance Manager, Lochan Bhattarai, Krishna Gurung, Manoj Joshi, Sarada Silwal, Pancha Narayan Maharjan, Anju Ranjit and Kabita Manandhar.
The visit has been arranged by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), New Delhi and the Embassy of India, Kathmandu to further encourage cultural exchange between India and Nepal.
During the visit, the troupe will perform at Delhi, Faridabad, Bhopal, Indore and Mumbai. The Naachghar performances will include Bhairavkali Dance, Syabru Dance, Ghintamai Dance, Tamang Selo Dance, Kauda Dance, Jhumara Dance, Jhankri Dance, Jhyaure Dance, Mayur Dance and folk songs and music of Nepal. nepalnews.com br Sept.9
