Col.Pun told Radio Nepal  Thursday he talked with Maoist leader Sagar Thapa ahead of the breakthrough. He said others could be added to the one-man negotiating team. “If both sides are serious, there should be progress in the talks,” Radio Nepal quoted Col Pun as saying.

The retired army officer hoped insurgents will announce names of rebel negotiator/negotiators soon.
