Kathmandu, 3 February: A Clouded Leopard that entered Kathmandu city premises Friday was darted and taken to the Jawalakhel Zoo. Arun Rijal of the King Mahendra Trust for Nature Conservation, that looks after the only zoo in the country said the leopard was about eight years and might have entered the city from the nearby Nagarjun forest. The Clouded Leopard is found in the mid hills of the kingdom and like the Snow Leopard, it too is on the endangered list. There are now two Clouded Leopards at the zoo with the latest accidental acquisition; the first one was nabbed from traders in the city several years ago.
