Suspected Maoists shot and killed a person at Gongabu, Kathmandu Sunday evening.
Ram Prasad Shrestha, 55, a permanent resident of Mygdi died within minutes after being shot by suspected Maoist gunmen at round 5:15pm near the bus park at Gongabu.
Eyewitnesses said two assailants shot him at point blank range. The reason behind the murder is yet to be known.
Police informed that search operation is underway to track them down.
