The Commission for the Investigation of the Abuse of Authority (CIAA) Wednesday froze the assets and bank account of former Minister of Tourism and Culture Bal Bahadur K. C., Commission sources said.

The CIAA acted on a complaint  lodged by an unidentified person. K. C. was minister in the government of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba. The CIAA has not probed K. C. so far.
