The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) interrogated former Minister Khum Bahadur Khadka Wednesday on charges of abusing public post and amassing property through illegal means.
Khadka has been released on conditions that he would present himself before the CIAA in ten days. He was released on bail following hearing on the charges filed against him for misappropriations in the Bakraha River Control Project.
The CIAA issued an arrest warrant against Khadka stating that it needed to investigate further as the ex-Minister was seen to have amassed wealth beyond his earning sources. Khadka after issuing of arrest warrant presented himself before CIAA. nepalnews.com am Apr 10
