KATHMANDU: A Chinese delegation of the Ministry of Agriculture Mechanization Division arrived in Nepal Thursday at the beginning of a three nation South Asian tour that will also take them to India and Bangladesh, an announcement said.

The delegation will study the impact and promotion of Chinese agricultural implements in the region. The delegation is headed by Deputy Director General of the Department of Agriculture Mechanization Liu Min.

The delegation will visit agricultural farms in Birgunj and Chitwan in Nepal before leaving for India and Bangladesh. Chinese agricultural implements are imported by Nepali traders.
