Kathmandu, Jan. 25 : His Majesty the King Birendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev, in accordance with the Constitution of the Kingdom of Nepal 1990, accepted the resignation submitted to His Majesty by Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Tarini Datta Chataut through the Prime Minister.

Meanwhile, His Majesty has, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, designated Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Ram Krishna Tamrakar to look after the affairs of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation.

This is stated in a notice issued today by the Principal Press Secretariat of His Majesty the King.
