A Burmese temple cum lecture hall constructed with the assistance of Myanmar was inaugurated Saturday in Lumbini by Minister for Religious Affairs of Myanmar U Ang Khin. The hall built at the cost of 12.5 million rupees reflects the old Buddhist history and culture of Myanmar, according to Lumbini Development Trust.
The Myanmar Golden Temple, Ananda Griha (rest house) and a dharmashala had already been constructed in Lumbini with assistance from Myanmar.
