Kathmandu: Minister of State for Finance Gopal Rai, at an interaction programme hosted by Public Administration Association of Nepal here today, said the forthcoming budget will take into consideration the suggestions of the public expenditures review committee and lay emphasis on administrative reforms.
Secretary at the Ministry of General Administration Mukunda Aryal said that the ensuing budget should make strong legal provisions to foster awareness of financial discipline and responsibilities in the administrative machinery.
At the interaction programme, Prof. Dr. Bishwambhar Pyakurel said that detailed studies should be undertaken to find out the achievements made form the policy and programmes pursued in the past and whether these were properly implemented or not.
Professor Mahendra Narayan Mishra, Finance Ministry joint secretary Bhoj Raj Ghimire and a host of other speakers expressed their views at the programme chaired by association president Dr. Govinda Prasad Dhakal
