Kathmandu, Jan. 25 (RSS): Chairman of the Rajparishad Standing Committee Dr. Kesharjung Rayamajhi presented Birendra-Aishwarya Sewa Padaks to members of the Rajparishad Standing Committee, member of Rajparishad and former secretaries of Rajsabha and Rajparishad at a function at the Rajparishad Secretariat today.

On the occasion, Dr. Rayamajhi highlighted the importance of the institution of Monarchy and Rajparishad, expressed gratitude to His Majesty the King for conferring the medals and extended thanks to all the distinguished persons who received the medals.

His Majesty had instituted the medals last Kartik. A tea party was also organised on the occasion.
