Kathmandu, June 28: Royal Nepalese Ambassador to Myanmar General Satchit Shamsher JBR (Retd.) Organised a function at the Royal Nepalese Embassy in Yangoon to mark the 30th Auspicious Birthday of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince.
On the occasion, garlands were offered at a portrait of HRH the crown prince.
Addressing the function, Ambassador Rana said that HRH the Crown Prince was a brilliant student during his school days and takes a keen interest in national issues.
During the function, best wishes were offered for the happiness, good health and prosperity of HRH the Crown Prince.
An oratory contest on “the role of the youths in 21st century”.was also held as part of the programme.
Sachchida Rajya Laxmi Devi Rana came out first, Praveen Hari Pradhan was runner up and Rekha Devi placed third in the contest.
The same day, a musical band in Yangoon organised a Nepalese cultural programme.
