The Social Service Welfare Council has instituted the Aishwarya Social Service Award in memory of the late Queen, an announcement said Saturday.

The announcement was made coinciding with the 25th anniversary of the Council’s establishment and the 23rd Social Service Day. The late Queen was founder chairperson of the Council.
